Good morning everyone! Welcome to “Written Richual” by Anthony Ricciardi! First, I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has been tuning into my Morning Richual Podcast. I hope that listening in becomes a part of your daily ritual.
Second, I want to introduce my blog where I will be writing to all of you. On the blog, I will be highlighting all the questions, comments and things I have been asked or learned along my journey this far. Here I will also be keeping you up to date with any upcoming events, releases and art shows.
I’VE ALWAYS WANTED ONE
The release of my blog is super exciting for me because I have always wanted to have an Artist ANTHONY RICCIARDI BLOG. I was always inspired by other forms of blogs like Highsnobiety. Highsnobiety does a great job of covering (daily) news and trends in streetwear, lifestyle and arts. I used to read (and still do) Highsnobiety all throughout high school and university as my way of staying connected to the art world. Also, another blog that inspired me to create my own is Artsy. Artsy is an online platform for discovering art, artists, galleries and collecting art itself. Platforms like these that I have been following for years inspired the need and want to create my blog as a way to engage, relate and connect to people.
WE ARE ALL CREATIVE
I am very grateful that my workspace and my Gallery space coexist together. It is because of this that I am able to meet and interact with so many people from different walks of life, some being aspiring creators. I am often asked about my work, inspiration and creative process. One common comment that I have received in the past by others is something along the lines of “You are so lucky you are creative. I wish I was creative”. One thing that I have learned along my journey through baseball, finance and art is that WE ARE ALL CREATIVE. I believe that we are ALL truly creative, we just need to unlock that potential. My goal with writing these blogs is to analyze and outline the tactics we can all utilize in our daily lives.
I am so excited to dive into so many different topics with you guys! I am truly looking forward to writing, sharing more of my story and lessons I have learned so far.
